A Place for Everyone
At the heart of SSCC is the main atrium, an open and inviting public space designed for quiet, everyday use. Whether you’re reading, working, or simply taking a break, the atrium offers a calm and comfortable setting.
Just above, a cozy mezzanine level provides additional seating with natural light—perfect for remote work, small meetings, or a change of scenery. With Wi-Fi available throughout the center, SSCC makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. It's a welcoming place to pause, work, or connect throughout the day.
The atrium also serves as a central gathering space, connecting to activity throughout the building—from seasonal favorites like the Portland Winter Farmers’ Market (held every Saturday from December through April) to year-round recreation, events, and programming across the center.
